Remarkable Gooseberry Specimens From Scotland

Sir Bernes-Mr John Mitchell reports exceptionally large berries from Scated gooseberry bushes brought over from Scotland three years ago. The fruit is richly flavored and much larger than common varieties, resembling wild plums in size. The piece notes other local items and events including sewer discussions, a Poultry Association exhibition, crime, weather impacts, and theatre news.
