Potato planting methods yield varied results across potato sizes
In a New York experiment Dr Hexanws tests seventeen planting styles to compare whole and cut potatoes. Results show largest potatoes planted whole perform well, while seed ends and cut pieces offer stronger yields in some setups. Prof Daniels notes cut seed often produces more than equal weight of whole seed, except with very small potatoes.
