Dysart Fire Department marks 125th anniversary
The Dysart Fire Department celebrates 125 years since its 1878 founding three years before Dysart was incorporated. From hand drawn engines to a seven-truck fleet, volunteers led by Chief John Schneider recall early rivalries, full history, and a $52,200 grant for a new tanker. A commemorative flagpole honors Robert V. Kriz.
