Eastern Iowa Airport extends life of runway after repaving
The secondary runway 13 31 at The Eastern Iowa Airport reopened after a July 19 closure to repave a southeast portion of the 6 199 foot runway. The project wrapped on time with no complications. A Corvida Medical founded by two University of Iowa graduates won a three year SBIR grant potentially totaling $2 million from the National Cancer Institute to commercialize devices that protect health care workers and patients from chemotherapy exposure.
