Volunteers rally to move Paramount seats in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Rapids volunteers mobilized to relocate 880 main floor seats to the second level at the Paramount Theatre ahead of predicted Cedar River crest. The effort, led by Paramount manager Jason Anderson, follows lessons from 2008 floods as Carpenters Local 308 and VenuWorks crews dismantled chairs and prepared the building for potential damage and power needs.
