Iowa and China sign $5.3 billion soy deal to Aug 2016
A 49 member Chinese delegation and U.S. soybean officials signed contracts worth 5.3 billion, agreeing to buy 13.8 million metric tons of U.S. soy products through Aug. 31, 2016. Gov. Branstad called Sino-Iowa trade strong with 30 percent of Iowa soybeans now going to China.

Ocwen Financial is laying off 300 of about 500 employees at its Waterloo customer service center over the next several months through early 2016.
