Miss Jeanette Trachta was elected president of the Iowa Mutual Girls Club at the annual fall dinner in the Florentine room of the Roosevelt hotel. One hundred forty members attended. guests honored were Miss Anna Proskovec and Miss Josephine Anderlik. Officers elected include Mrs. George Pixley first vice president Miss Bertha Athoff second vice president Miss Nancy Shean treasurer Miss Arlene Zumbrunnen secretary and Mrs. William Rhinehart secretary chair.

Shrine auxiliary bus trip to Minneapolis leaves Oct 3

Reservations for the El Kabir Shrine auxiliary bus trip to the Crippled Children's hospital in Minneapolis must be made by Wednesday evening. Temple Initiates Ten in Eu-Cha-Rest Ceremony

Eu-Cha-Rest temple 68 Daughters of the Nile held a fall ceremonial Monday in the Florentine room at the Roosevelt hotel with Queen Gladys Thomas presiding. Ten candidates were initiated. A luncheon for 75 members and visitors preceded the ceremony. The horseshoe table was decorated with fall dahlias oak leaves acorns and miniature leaf pins.
