Lebanon suffers deadliest day of conflict since 2006
Israeli strikes across Lebanon on Monday killed 492 people including 35 children and 58 women, with over 1,600 wounded. The toll prompted mass evacuations from the south as Hezbollah and Israeli forces exchanged intensifying air attacks and threats of a ground invasion. Prime Minister Netanyahu urged civilians to evacuate while Israel said it would take all necessary actions to curb Hezbollah’s threat.
