In Orlando, 84 year old Mary Spencer and other Encore at Avalon Park residents test MyndVR headsets to gauge whether immersive scenes from a jazz club to a sunset on a farm can calm dementia symptoms and brighten daily life. Eight residents with dementia and eight without participate in a four week trial.
