Scientists study the 700 acre Swamp White Oak Preserve in Muscatine County to show floodplain restoration can clean water and lessen flood damage along the Cedar River. Keosauqua Man Released to Attend Red Sox Game
Randy A. Barker of Keosauqua was temporarily released from the Van Buren County Jail to attend a Boston Red Sox game in Kansas City. He is serving a 10 day sentence for interference with official acts and violation of a protective order. Barker and his family planned the trip despite opposition from County Attorney Craig Miller.
