Wright of Fond du Lac Wis two sisters Florence and Marie Wright of Ft Dodge and brother Robert L. Wright of Oklahoma City. Services Saturday at 10 30 a m at Turner chapel east burial Oak Hill cemetery. Esther H. Erwin 69 of 2933 E avenue NE Cedar Rapids died Wednesday after a long illness born December 5 1900 in Martelle married Walter L. Erwin May 12 1928 and was a barber 1942–57 member of Marion Christian church Maccabees and Marion American Legion auxiliary. Surviving husband a daughter Mrs Henry L. Robbins five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial services 1 30 p m Saturday at Marion Christian church burial Cedar Memorial cemetery. Casket not opened after service. Friends may call Cedar Memorial Friday afternoon and at Marion Christian church after 9 a m Saturday.
Albert W. Irving, 80, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Wednesday in Alexandria, Virginia. Born December 10, 1889, he was a World War I veteran. Survived by daughter Helen Comer and son Robert Irving, both of Alexandria, two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Memorial services 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chapel of Memories, First Presbyterian Church. Burial Cedar Memorial Cemetery. Visitation Cedar Memorial funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday and Chapel of Memories after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Charles Kramer 95 widow of Charles Kramer long-time Cedar Rapids resident died in Omaha Wednesday after a long illness. Her husband was a retired Cedar Rapids policeman with no immediate survivors. Graveside services will be at Mt Calvary cemetery at 1 p.m. Friday led by Rev Louis McDonough pastor of St Matthew's Church. Brady mortuary in charge.
