Wisconsin firms chosen to build Dakota Access Pipeline segments
Michels Pipeline Construction and Precision Pipeline, both based in Wisconsin, were selected to build 380 miles in Iowa, South Dakota and North Dakota and 476 miles in Iowa and Illinois respectively for the Dakota Access Pipeline. The $3.78 billion project would run 1134 miles from North Dakota to Illinois with 100 percent union labor.
