Newton couple sues fertility clinic over sperm mix up
A Newton couple filed suit in Polk County District Court alleging a misdirected insemination at Mid-Iowa Fertility. They claim Dr. Donald Young and staff confused Kelly Schakel with another patient causing emotional, medical and possible paternity concerns and seek damages including punitive relief.
