Library bids far below estimate in Cedar Rapids
Bids for Cedar Rapids Public Library come in more than 3.6 million under the 24.65 million pre bid estimate. Extra features like irrigation for a green roof lighting and a skywalk add to the project considerations. With low bids the project manager may recommend adding solar panels and pursuing LEED platinum status.
