Poaching and danger cited at Sac and Fox Trail center
Rich Patterson of the Indian Creek Nature Center warns the economy’s decline may raise poaching along the Sac and Fox Trail. A portable deer stand found elevated on a tree, ATVs on the path, and entrails reported on the trail raise safety concerns for hikers. Hunting is not allowed in the greenbelt, and Patterson warns that someone could be shot.
