Two Are Bound To Grand Jury
Two men appeared in municipal court and were bound over to the grand jury. Frank Carter of 500 first Javenna SW was bound after a preliminary hearing on a charge of assisting an escaping felon. A three year old girl fell from a moving car during an escape attempt in Linn intersection Ninth street Lenard Johnson at Twelfth and Twelfth avenue SE waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of breaking and entering. Ruth Griffin of 909 Eighth street SE was a passenger in a car driven by Mar Griffin when the child opened the car door and fell out. She was treated at Mercy Hospital and released.
