Iowa City eyes expanded bike share with UI partnership
Iowa City moves toward a university backed bike share funded by a $135,300 state clean air grant with total phase budgets around $175,000 to $227,000. UI Parking and Transportation, UI staff and student groups contribute, Coca Cola adds $50,000, and plans call for 30 bikes and three terminals downtown and on campus.
