Diamond Squares Club Hosts Barn Dance North of Marion

Diamond Squares Club members from Marion circle in a fast square dance inside a machine shed on the Willis and Bev Lillie farm. Record GNP plunge marks steepest postwar slide

The Commerce Department reports the second quarter real GNP fell a record 9.6 percent, with corporate profits down 22.2 billion and durable goods demand dropping 10.2 percent. The drop, the worst since 1947, eclipses 1975 and hints at recovery despite the depth of the downturn.
