Historic Sutliff Bridge Reopens After Modern Makeover

The 114 year old Sutliff Bridge over the Cedar River in northeast Johnson County is near reopening after a 2008 flood damaged it. A nearly 1.9 million restoration, led by Tim McDermott of VJ Engineering, rebuilt a geometry replica with weathering steel and rust toned sections.
