NFL to play full 16 game schedule this season
The NFL will run a full 16 game schedule this season with possible 12 team playoffs. Commissioner Paul Tagliabue said a vote by the competition committee kept the 16 game format and that wild cards may not be reduced, while three division winners and three wild cards could still make the post season. Referees vote by email on a possible end to the lockout as talks continue.
