New People and Music Scene Coming to ABC-College Focused
A Monday schedule preview for the new season notes two ABC- television staples. The first, Music Scene, will feature young and older music makers, while The New People follows college youths on a Pacific island as they rebuild society after a crash. The show stars Peter Ratray and David Moses, both married, with a cast of about 49 youths aiming to portray modern youth and a call for individualism without anti establishment bitterness. The project has been in development since last January with pilots and multiple scripts completed, and premiere slated for Monday.
