UI to offer three degrees at former AIB campus in Des Moines
University of Iowa plans to offer three bachelor programs in social work sports and recreation management and enterprise leadership at the former AIB College of Business campus in Des Moines starting fall 2016. The site will become a Regents Resource Center as the campus shutters in July with a broader needs assessment pending to determine the center’s optimal location and potential future ownership. Lawsuit claims Iowa open meeting violations in UI search
University of Iowa emeritus dentistry professor Harold Hammond filed in Johnson County District Court alleging the 21 member presidential search and screen committee violated Iowa open meetings laws by holding early morning meetings at Rosemont Illinois and by closing interviews with nine candidates.
