Armstrong and Whipple To Coordinate Coe Drive
Two Cedar Rapids men, Robert C. Armstrong and William P. Whipple, were named Monday to head the steering committee for the national Coe Challenge Fund Campaign. The project advances Coe College’s expansion under a 1.4 million Ford Foundation grant with a two for one gift matching plan over three years. Armstrong will chair. Whipple will be executive vice chair as the committee directs campaign efforts and forms a national executive body.
