Cassini Mission Reaches Final Hours Before Fuel Runs Out
Cassini is out of fuel after 20 years since launch and 9 years beyond its planned life. To avoid contaminating Saturn's moons, planners will end the mission with a controlled deorbit into Saturn. NASA and collaborators aim to maximize data return in the last hours as they observe Saturn's ionosphere and upper atmosphere.

Iowa Supreme Court appeal over Park case questions evidence and verdict
The appeal argues Purk killed Okonski by choke slam but cites lack of direct evidence and body. It cites juror dysfunction after Turner's ruling revoking a guilty verdict and granting a bench trial. The transcript shows jurors’ confusion and comments about James Lambert and credibility of witnesses. If the high court rejects the appeal a new non juror trial would begin November in Tama County.
