Stand Down for Homeless Veterans Set for Sept. 19
The area's third Stand Down for Homeless Veterans will be held Friday at the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Cedar Rapids from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees gain meals, clothing, screenings, and access to housing, employment, VA benefits, and counseling. More than 30 agencies join volunteers for this one-day event with free registration via 211.
