Marion school boards swap space with Linn-Mar for off site services
The Marion Independent school board accepted Linn-Mar's offer to sublease part of the former home school assistance headquarters next to Starry Elementary. Linn-Mar will pay about 39 412 dollars through June 30, 2005, covering 59 percent of Marion's remaining lease obligation while using 71 percent of the main floor for special education support services. Ideal Investments LC of Anamosa owns the building and approved the terms, which include no option to renew. Marion also seeks a tenant for an extra 1 566 square feet in the basement.
