Nicholson set as Coralville police chief pending council vote
Lt Kyle Nicholson, a 2014 Coralville Police recruit and 2023 investigations lieutenant, is poised to become police chief after a city council special meeting. He holds a masters in criminal justice administration from Columbia Southern University and would lead a 40‑person department with a 2025 budget over 6.1 million.
