Cedar Rapids man killed after stabbing woman at apartment
Cedar Rapids authorities say Markell L. Bivins, 25, stabbed Raelynn J. Finn, 25, at the Valley High Apartments before two officers fatally shot him. Finn was hospitalized after surgery and is expected to live. Bivins had previously been barred from contacting Finn and is the subject of an Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation review.

Lake Macbride booze ban delayed by lawmakers
