Loebsack questions the wisdom of Syria strike
Rep. Dave Loebsack remains unconvinced that a U S military strike is the right response to Assad’s alleged chemical attack. He favors diplomacy with Russia and international partners, citing war weariness, budget cuts, and a stretched military as reasons to proceed cautiously. He did not rule out unilateral action if national interests demand it.
