The IRS says failure to sign 31 Form 230 summaries led to potential losses of about 22.6 million dollars in taxes. Spokesman Frank Keith says the fault affected 10 700 returns with 46 million in additional assessments, 23.4 million in 7 600 cases already issued, and a 22.6 million cap for expired 3 100 cases.
