Durden wins Nike Marathon in Eugene
Georgia runner Benji Durden pulled clear in the final four miles to win the $100,000 Nike Marathon in Eugene. New Zealand’s Lorraine Moller won the women’s race and both earned $20,000 in the ARRA circuit. TAC has begun disciplinary action against Durden and 11 others for accepting money in a prior race. Durden, ARBA board member, said the $20,000 likely matches under the table earnings in his amateur career as he calls for sport cleaning.
