Nairobi pipeline blast leaves at least 75 dead

In a Nairobi slum a leaking gasoline pipeline exploded on Monday, killing at least 75 people and injuring many more. Joseph Mwangi found two of his children among the blackened bodies as inferno flames spread through crowded, narrow alleys and homes. At least 112 victims with severe burns were rushed to hospitals.

Officials: 22 Shiite pilgrims killed in Iraq
