Volunteer spotlight fuels Chili Dog Fair for Kidneeds
Fourteen year old Alyssa Levitz of Iowa City leads the fifth annual Chili Dog Fair to benefit Kidneeds, a fund supporting research on MPGN Type 2. The event at the Johnson County 4-H Fairgrounds features a chili cook-off, dog shows, raffles, and live entertainment with 25 teams, drawing about 2,500 last year and raising $40,000 for a research grant.
