Cedar Rapids Schools Pledge 10 Year Local Tax Plan

The Cedar Rapids Linn County school board approved a 10 year local option sales tax and set February 13 for the vote. Superintendent Dave Markward said the 10 year term maximizes tax dollars and reflects needs beyond a shorter period. Nine of ten speakers were from other Linn County boards urging the 10 year plan.

Linn County schools seek local option sales tax plan
