Iowa City Council to discuss elderly meals eligibility
The Iowa City City Council and Johnson County Board of Supervisors will meet Wednesday to review policies for the congregate meals program at the Senior Center. Critics say first come, first served distribution of up to 150 free noon meals may violate federal rules prioritizing those aged 60 and older in need.
