Final dog trials Sunday by Southeast Iowa Retriever Club
The Southeast Iowa Retriever Club will run its final gun dog trial of the season Sunday at the Green Castle area in the Hawkeye Wildlife Area near Coralville Reservoir starting at 8 a.m. A novice class for hunters to train dogs on pigeons and ducks is offered with no advance registration. The club also hosts its annual banquet at the Ronneburg Inn in Amana on Friday Sept 25 with a 6 30 p.m. social and 8 p.m. dinner. tickets cost 7 50 with no reservations required and the public invited.
