Cedar Rapids Adult Education Offers 150+ Fall Classes
Cedar Rapids fall term opens September 3 with more than 150 adult education classes at Kirkwood Community College and local high schools. Tuition mostly 14 dollars, eight students needed per class, senior citizens 1 dollar fee for older adults, courses range from hobby to semi academic, many meeting at Kirkwood and area schools, call 398 5529 for details.

Don Knotts leads a nationwide anti litter drive with a poster contest for grade school and junior high students. One national winner from each group will travel to Los Angeles for a lunch with Knotts and a Disneyland visit. First Chamber Film on France Opens New Season
Veteran lecturer Neil Douglas will kick off a Chamber of Commerce travelogue series at Colisem Armory on Wednesday night presenting The New Face of France. The film tours Notre Dame Cathedral Monaco the Louvre and the Palace of Versailles with stops at famous French cities. Dinner reservations for 6 p.m. precede the program via the Chamber.
