Ex-Iowa player Brett Greenwood collapses during workout
Former Iowa football player Brett Greenwood collapsed Friday at Pleasant Valley High School during a workout. PV Athletics Director Randy Teymer said the incident occurred about 3 p.m. and he was transported by ambulance to a Bettendorf hospital and then to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, which could not share his condition. Greenwood, 23, had signed as a free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers but was released in the final cuts last weekend.
