University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics posts record revenue
The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics reports a budget year ending June 30 with 1.45 billion dollars in revenue and a near record operating income of 100 million. August followed with 366 million in gross revenue as volume rose across discharges, census and clinic visits. The opening of UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital in December adds about 30 million in costs and 500,000 square feet of utilities, while leaders plan for incremental revenue under a $100 million plan.
