Water buffalo PHill becomes Pleasant Hill local legend
A water buffalo escaped during an owner’s attempt to slaughter him in Pleasant Hill near Des Moines. He roamed the town for days, drew crowds and online support, was shot by police to prevent highway danger, then tranquilized and moved to an Iowa sanctuary where his fate and care will continue.
