Miller hurt OSU rolls with backup in win over San Diego State
In Columbus, backup quarterback Kenny Guiton replaced injured Braxton Miller early and threw two TDs plus ran for another as Ohio State beat San Diego State 42-7. Guiton went 19 of 28 for 152 yards with 85 rushing yards, while Devin Smith and Corey Brown led receiving for the 2-0 Buckeyes. Brown caught one 24-yard TD and totaled six receptions for 73 yards. San Diego State, 0-2, scored on a Quinn Kaehler 2-yard pass to Chad Young late in the third quarter. Miller exited with a sprained left knee on the opening possession, returned briefly, then wore a brace. The Buckeyes led 35-0 at halftime.
