U.S. District Judge Edward J. McManus refused Atlas Corp. request to adjust the 1979 uranium price for Iowa Electric Light and Power Co. saying higher production costs do not justify breaking the contract. Atlas faces about 2.6 million in losses as costs rise 82 percent while it argues market price near 40 per pound.
