Edmund Booth Deaf Pioneer chronicled in new book
A forthcoming book by Harry G. Lang titled Edmund Booth, Deaf Pioneer recounts the Anamosa man born in 1810 who lost hearing and sight in one eye, journeyed to California in 1849, and returned with wealth. The tale compares a diary rich life with an earlier 1953 family biography.
