Lawsuit claims Cedar Rapids district liable for past teacher misconduct
Plaintiffs allege Cedar Rapids Community School District was negligent in hiring retaining and supervising Gary C Lindsey a former Van Buren Elementary teacher with prior complaints. Lindsey resigned in 1995 after a leave of absence and holds a teaching license. No criminal charges were filed and settlements were reached with Lindsey.
