County Board votes 3 1 to appeal hog confinement permit

The Linn County Board of Supervisors voted 3 1 to appeal a Iowa Department of Natural Resources decision granting a permit for Matt Ditch’s hog confinement east of Center Point. The board set a Sept 28 deadline to file the appeal and cited neighbor objections as a key factor.

Assault Charges in Linn Cedar Rapids
