Arraignment set in Kalona murder case
Lewis Eugene Anderson, 21, is charged with first degree murder and first degree burglary in the death of Ruth Patterson 73 in rural Kalona. Arraignment is scheduled for Friday a.m. in Washington County District Court. Bond set at 528000. Patterson’s body was found at her home August 23 and a stolen safe was later located along a county road.
