Old Plane Crashes at Iowa Antique Air Show
Two Illinois men, Arnold Bruce Van Daeniken 21 and George Michael Brown 19, died when their Johnson Rocket 185 vintage plane lost power and crashed while landing at an Antique Aircraft Assn field near Blakesburg. Sheriff Theodore Rumpf said he likely died of carbon monoxide poisoning after being dead several hours. Moe was born September 25 1924 in Allamakee.
