Peach tree from seeds yields record sized fruit
Six years after scattering peach seeds in his garden C. H. Graham of 618 Third Avenue SW grew a tree that produced a peach ten and a half inches in circumference last year and two peaches eleven and a half and twelve and a half inches this year weighing up to fourteen and a half ounces. He seeks identification of the tree’s variety and a $15,000 claim against J. L. Woerderhoff over stock bought with money from a sinking Cedar Rapids Shoe stock. Other cases include multiple divorce actions and liens over farm and corporate property.
