Rebecca Rains Weds Richard Klemme at Keota Church

Rebecca Susan Rains and Richard E. Klemme were married at United Presbyterian Church in Keota on Sunday afternoon. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Don Callen, followed by a reception for 50 guests. The bride, daughter of Edward and Mrs. Rains of Fort Atkinson, Wis., will reside in Milwaukee with her husband, who is employed by the University of Wisconsin. she works for Wisconsin vocational rehabilitation.

Chelsea couple to celebrate 50 years of marriage

An open house will honor Mr. and Mrs. Wayne McGrew on Sunday marking 50 years of marriage. The Chelsea Community hall hosts from 2 to 4 30 with their children and families hosting, noting they wed September 2 1925 and have seven grandchildren.

Miss Cindy Achenbach became the bride of Rex Rohwedder at a 5:30 ceremony Friday in Mt. Vernon state park. The couple, of Olin, will reside there while Rohwedder works for Vernon Construction. Anamosa hosted a reception at the Isaak Walton clubhouse.

Consumer Course Planned at Iowa City

University of Iowa associate professor John Shannon will teach a three semester hour course this fall titled Decision Making for Consumers. The class reviews national consumer trends and focuses on personal budgeting credit housing and food. It argues consumer choices have political and environmental impacts beyond individual purchases.
