Keeter the messenger terrier spreads goodwill in Marion
For years Skeeter the terrier, owned by Dr. and Mrs. H. O. Young, visits to cheer Mrs. Ladd in Marion each morning. The dog pauses at a spot for a greeting from a Marion doctor on the way home, and poems attached to her harness by neighbors mark the tradition. Skeeter even helped a cat find a new home when she stayed elsewhere briefly.
